You can telephone Cogwheel at any time. If you ring during normal office hours you will usually be able to speak to someone in person. If you ring at outside ofice hours , you will hear a recorded message and you will need to leave a name and contact number for us to call you back.

We will take some details and arrange an initial consultation for you as soon as possible. Please note that Cogwheel is not a crisis service and if you need urgent help, you need to contact your GP or an appropriate NHS service. The Samaritans helpline number is 08457 909090.

While Cogwheel is a charity and receives some statutory grants and donations from the community, we are mainly dependent upon client contributions. Therefore, we need clients to contribute toward the cost of each session, including the initial consultation appointment. We ask that the contribution amount should reflect annual family income. Subject to availability of sponsorship, we offer a number of sponsored places to those in particular need based on our sliding scale of contributions. There is a fixed amount of sponsorship that any one client can have so Cogwheel has to restrict the number of sessions it offers to clients given sponsored places.
