Cogwheel Canter Running Festival 2025 Hit Record Numbers!

Cogwheel Canter hit record numbers! Thank you to everyone who took part and came along to support our runners!

We had 637 runners take part on the various runs which was a 10% increase on 2024s total!

The event had something for all ages and abilities, with 10k, 5k and 2k races, along with  200m and 500m mini-runs.

Well done to all that took part, and in particular our race winners – results for the 5k and 10k races are now available on the Cogwheel Canter website.

The event raised around £3500 for Cogwheel, giving us a great start to 2026. The funds raised this year will go directly to the Cogwheel Counselling Support Fund which specifically helps those on Universal Benefit and or on very low incomes access counselling from £11 per session. The amount raised will finance the Support Fund for three months.

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make the event happen, our event sponsors and to Girton Parish Council!
