Available support for families with children.
Cambridgeshire Early Support is for children from birth until the end of Year R at Primary school, who have complex additional needs or disability and require on-going specialist support from across education, health and care. This includes children who have great difficulty communicating, have sensory, learning or physical difficulties and/or complex health needs. All will need additional support with many aspects of their daily lives and it is probable that there will be a lifelong impact on their development and learning.

Home-Start is a voluntary organisation offering support to families who have at least one child under five when family life becomes difficult.
The Home-Start service supports families, through weekly volunteer home visits, to deal with diverse concerns such as parental mental health issues, isolation, postnatal illness, disability, bereavement, multiple births and parenting skills. They also support families in a group setting currently in Chesterton, Trumpington and Wisbech.
Home-Start support is completely free. You do not have to pay for any of our support and it is entirely voluntary.
It might be suggested to you by a health visitor, a doctor or another professional but it is entirely up to you if you want to work with Home-Start.
