Training Workshop: Working with Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
Cogwheel Counselling is hosting a one-day, in-person training for therapists looking to deepen their trauma-informed practice with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
This experiential workshop introduces the three-phase model of trauma treatment and explores how early sexual trauma can impact boundaries, relationships, nervous system regulation and meaning-making within the therapeutic relationship.
The day will combine discussion, survivor experiences and practical strategies, with space to reflect on therapists own responses in order to leave with tools that support client outcomes.
