The Cogwheel Canter returns!

Saturday 31st December 2022 saw the return of the Cogwheel Canter, after a two-year break due to Covid-19. The 2022 event had a family focus, with a 200m toddler mini-run and 2k race added to the usual 5k, as well as a 10k for those who prefer a longer distance.

Despite a grey start to the day, around 370 runners arrived at the Girton Recreation Ground, and we were fortunate that the rain held off for most of the morning.

Well done to all that took part, and in particular our race winners – results for the 5k and 10k races are available on the Cogwheel Canter website.

The event raised over £2,000 for Cogwheel, which is a great way to start 2023. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make the event happen, and event sponsors Avanit, Hockeys estate agents and Neil Marsh Health & Fitness.

We look forward to welcoming you all again to the Cogwheel Canter Running Festival 2023!
