Come and be a part of the Cogwheel Cambridge Stride!

If you love walking or just want a great reason to get moving, we invite you to join us for the Cogwheel Cambridge Stride.

Created as part of our 35th anniversary celebrations in 2023, this event features a 27-mile self-guided walk around the beautiful perimeter of Cambridge, with shorter routes of 13 and 6 miles available for both walkers and runners, all happening on Sunday 18th May.

The route follows the historic River Cam, stretching to Grantchester Meadows at its southernmost point before looping back past Stourbridge Common in the north, and it takes in several delightful Cambridgeshire villages.

The 2023 edition welcomed 87 Striders and raised over £4,000. Cogwheel’s Head of Services, Isabelle Dolis, completed the 13-mile Stride, saying “For me, it was lovely to bump into other Striders and chat and laugh along the way. It has been a privilege to be part of the fundraising efforts at Cogwheel.”

All proceeds from the event will help cover costs and support Cogwheel’s mission to provide affordable mental health counseling for individuals and families in the area.

We encourage participants to seek personal sponsorship for Cogwheel, and those who raise £100 or more will enjoy free entry.
